A powerful meditation and prayer.

For those encountering illness, for their family members, friends, and caregivers a meditation has come from the shamans of the Altai Mountains in Siberia through Selene Calloni Williams. This is both a powerful meditation and a prayer. Family and friends can recite it to their loved ones during their illness.

Old men of the sea, old women of the earth and you protectors of the winds,
Give strength to my breath and power to my heart.
I have a mission to accomplish in this life that asks for completion.
You ancestors, who are my own organs, please whisper and blow into my ears my mission.
Old men of the sea, old women of the earth and you protectors of the winds,
Help me through this rite of passage that will renew me.
You ancestors, who are my own organs, sustain my regeneration so as to complete my journey,
Whisper into my ears the great mantra of remembrance: “Samasati, Samasati”
Old men of the sea, old women of the earth and you protectors of the winds,
Accompany my rite of passage, enter into the heat that I feel within me and that it is the fire of my soul forging my mission.

Samasati… Samasati… Samasati

It is said that this mantra is the last word spoken by the Buddha.

Samasati means; remember who you are, remember you are a Buddha, remember you are an awakened one”

Samasati

May this meditation reveal to you that past, present, and future are now and fill you with the joy and vitality of being the lover of what is.

Feel free to repeat this mantra “Samasati” as often as you like; “remember who you are, remember you are an awakened one”
